Jane Rick began her career as a Curator at the Victoria and Albert Museum before she moved to Spencer House 20 years ago. Jane was appointed to the position of Director of Spencer House in 1996. She was responsible for the magnificent works of art which can be seen within the State Rooms, which included liaising with the Royal Collection, The Victoria and Albert Museum and Tate Britain, amongst many other public and private collections, who have generously lent fine eighteenth-century paintings and furniture for display. She organised public access to the State Rooms and was also responsible for the appearance of the historic garden overlooking The Green Park, amongst other specialised projects.
Jane has recently been appointed the London representative of the Historic Houses Association.
